A prominent Indian TV and film actor Sameer Kakkhar is known for mostly playing supporting roles. The veteran who rose to fame with his role in the then popular series Nukkad (1986-87), made his debut on the silver screen with the critically acclaimed film Pushpak in 1987. His other notable films credits include Jawab Hum Denge (1987), Parinda (1989), Raja Babu (1994), and Hasee Toh Phasee (2014). His 2017 release includes Wass...up! Zindagi (2017), a Gujarati family drama film directed by Manoj Lalwani.
