Sameer Kulkarni learnt Hindustani under Sri Narashimalu Vadavati, Guitar with Mr. Sagar Wallance and Western music under the guidance of R.S.James. He worked as a keyboard programmer and guitarist for music directors like Upendra Kumar, V.Manohar, K.Kalyan, to name a few. He has also composed jingles for brands like, Coke, Royal Gold Tea, Gemini Tea, Kuberan Silks, Davanam Jewellers, Aditya Ice cream, Syndicate Bank, Nandini Milk Products (KMF), Toyota Kirloskar etc. He has composed music for the movie Gul-E-Bakavali directed by Sri M.S.Sathyu. He won the `Best Music Award` at Vibhinn 98, a state level theatre fest, in 1998. His 2019 release includes Night Out.
