Best known for his work in Katyar Kaljat Ghusli (2015) and Ubuntu (2017), Sameer Sawant is one of the most renowned lyricists of Marathi film industry. He has also written lyrics for Marathi soap operas, music videos, and a number of Ganpati songs. His 2018 projects include Asehi Ekada Vhave, Ranangan and Pushpak Vimaan, directed by Vaibhav Chinchalkar.
