Having headed to Mumbai to earn a living, led Sandesh Shetty Ajri to feel an affiliation for the arts and theatre. So along with being a businessman and a hotelier, Sandesh also pursued theatre and acting. Making his way into the field in 2010, he then worked in prominent newspapers and television channels. Soon, Sandesh acted and directed a film called Kathale Kone and then went on to act as a villain in several other films. Panchamukhi, Ambuja, Adey Mukha, Sangeetha Bar and Restaurant and Balavanada Jadugara are films Sandesh has lent his credence as an actor. In 2023, he has helmed Inamdar as a director and also acted in it.
