Sanjay Khanduri a.k.a. Sanjay M Khandduri is an Indian director and writer, born on June 13, 1979 in a Hindu family in Uttarakhand, India, brought up in New Delhi. He did his schooling and graduation from Delhi. He dreamt of being an Engineer, but worked intensively thru journalism to ad films and finally become a film-maker. He joined TV18 as a correspondent and later on joined Crest Communication, to expertise in special effects. He made his first breakthrough with Director, Subhash Ghai in the movie, Taal, as second assistant. Sanjay made his debut with his dark comic thriller film, 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local', as a writer and director. He became the winner of 'Silver Palm Award' For 'Excellence in Cinema' at Mexico International Film Festival in 2010 and won Lion's best debutant director award for his debut film Ek Chalis Ki Last Local. His second film, Kismet Love Paisa Dilli got international recognitions and 4 Stardust Nominations.
