Sanjay Masoom has been a screenwriter for a string of hit films, such as Krrish (2006), Jannat 2 (2012), Gunday (2014), Krrish 3 (2013), Raja Natwarlal (2014), Koyelaanchal (2014) and many more. He won the IIFA Award (Best Dialogue) for his work in Krrish 3. Sanjay has also penned the dialogues of 3 AM: A Paranormal Experience (2014), Ghayal Once Again (2016) and screenplay of Kaabil (2017).

His 2018 release includes the movie Hamara Tiranga directed by Sajeev Balath.
