Sanjay Bardhan is an Indian movie director who predominantly works in Bengali cinema. He directed the romantic drama Disha in 2015, which revolves around the life of a prostitute, starring Partho Roy and Swarnali Poddar. He was also the screenplay writer for the film. He then went on cast Gaurab Chakraborty and Ridhima Ghosh for another romantic drama titled Fake Book in the same year. Sanjay's 2017 venture includes Chowdhury Rajbari starring Mainak Banerjee, Giaa and Ratool Mukherjee in the lead roles.
