After working with musical maestro A. R. Rahman for over two years on movies like Kadal and Lingaa, Santhosh Dhayanidhi made his debut as a composer in 2015 with Santhanam`s Tamil romantic comedy Inimey Ippadithan. Apart from composing the music of the movie, Santhosh also lent his voice to a song from its soundtrack titled Thaedi Odunaen.

Following his debut, Santhosh went on to be associated with movies such as Mo (2016), Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal (2017), Kattappava Kanom (2017), and Madura Veeran (2018).
