Santosh Mishra is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and music director who works in the Bhojpuri film industry. He started out in the showbiz as a screenwriter, making his debut with the 2011 film Nirahua Rickshawala. Since then, Santosh has penned the screenplay for over 40 films and directed a handful of blockbusters, notably Patna Se Pakistan (2016), Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi (2016) and Mokama 0 km (2016). Among his best known screenwriting credits are Nirahua No.1 (2012), Devra Bhail Deewana (2014), Nirahua Hindustani (2015) and Nirahua Rikshawala 2 (2016). Other significant directorial credits include Majnu Motor Wala (2013), Pahali Najar Ko Salam (2017) and Kashi Amarnath (2017). In 2018, he directed Dinesh Lal Yadav and Amrapali Dubey starrer Bhojpuri action drama Border.
