Kown for her funny querulous voice and shrewd comedy, Sarah Vowell is an actor, author, and American historian. Often referred to as a 'Social Observer', Vowell is a New York Times' best selling author and she has written seven books on the history and culture of America.

It was her time on the show The American Life on Public Radio International that she gains her recognition and popularity. She, then, went on to lend her voice to the popular character of Violet Parr in The Incredibles. She even gave voice-over in the known video-games, Disney Infinity and Infinity 3.0 among others.
