Sarath Kumar, also christened as Sarath "Appani", after his remarkable debut as the foul-mouthed Appani in Angamaly Diaries, is an Indian actor known for his work in the Malayalam film industry. He showed off his dancing skills with the "Jimikki Kammal" song in his 2017 release, Velipadinte Pusthakam. Sarath shared screenspace with veteran actor Mohanlal in the movie. In 2017 he also starred alongside Sunny Wayne, Prayaga Rose Martin, Jacob Gregory, Saiju Kurup and Nedumudi Venu in director Jijo Antony`s Pokkiri Simon. In 2018, he appeared alongside Keerthy Suresh and Vishal Krishna reddy in N. Linguswamy`s Tamil action romantic drama Sandakozhi 2. His 2019 release includes Ikkayude Shakadam, directed by Prince Avaraachan.
