Music composer and actor, Sarthi K is predominantly a part of the Punjabi film industry. Having a keen interest in music ever since his school days, Sarthi often performed at his school and college cultural programmes, which cemented his decision of wanting to pursue music as a career. After he was noticed by renowned Punjabi lyricist Jaggi Tohra, the two collaborated and released Sarthi's first album titled Chandigarh Fever.

He then went on to release his next album Challa In Chandigarh in 2012, and Area in 2016. Making his foray into the film industry, he was associated with the 2016 Punjabi movie Kacche Dhaagey, following which, in 2017, he made his acting debut with the movie Yaar Anmulle 2. In 2018, Sarthi was a part of the Punjabi action crime-drama Punjab Singh as a playback singer and an actor, both.
