Satish Kaul is a veteran Indian actor who appears predominantly in Punjabi and Hindi films. In the course of an acting career spanning close to five decades, he has appeared in over a hundred films, mostly in supporting roles. He made his acting debut with an uncredited role in the 1970 film Prem Pujari, and is often referred to as the Amitabh Bachchan of Punjabi cinema. Notable film credits in Bollywood include Ang Se Ang Lagale (1974), Karma (1986), Ram Lakhan (1989), Bandh Darwaza (1990), Khel (1992) and Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998). Significant among his acting credits in the Punjabi film industry are Sassi Punnu (1983), Patola (1987) and Mission 2017 Halla Ho (2017).
