A versatile artist, Satrajit Sen is an Indian director, producer, and entrepreneur who primarily works in Bengali cinema. Satrajit who has the distinction of being the only producer and director who has a workshop experience at Lee Strasberg Institute. Having assisted Bill Hopkins, the chief assistant to acclaimed directors, Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood, he started his career in films as a producer. His 2014 production venture, Bakita Byaktigato won the National Award for Best Film. His maiden directorial venture is the 2018 film, Michael, a Bengali drama starring Mir Afsar Ali, Soumitra Chatterjee, Kanchan Mullick and Arunima Ghosh.
