Satyan Mahalingam is a popular Indian playback singer and composer, known for his work in Tamil cinema. His notable work as a singer includes songs like `Kalakkapovathu Yaaru` from Vasool Raja MBBS, `Sil Sil` from Arinthum Ariyamalum and also the title track of Boss Engira Bhaskaran. `Kalakkapovathu Yaaru` from Vasool Raja MBBS in 2004, under director Bharathwaj, marked Satyan`s entry in the movie industry. He has performed several other songs such as `Gulla Gulla Dracula` from Muni, `Avanapathi` from Avan Ivan, `Aambalaikkum Pombalaikkum` from Kazhugu, `Dhoorathil Unnaipaartha` from Veyilodu Vilayadu, `Kutti puli` from Thuppakki, and `Uyrin Maeloru Uyirvanthu` from Vadacurry. Not only this, he has composed and programmed several jingles. He was roped in as the music director for the 2017 Tamil action thriller film Vizhithiru, directed by Meera Kathiravan, starring Krishna Kulasekaran in the lead role.
