After graduating from SNDT with a BSc degree in textiles, Sayli Soman went on to study at the School Of Fashion Technology, attaining a post-graduation degree in fashion/apparel design. Upon completing her course, Sayli was associated with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehras Raanjhana, as a costume design intern. She then went on to work on movies such as Vees Mhanje Vees, Antar, Mitwaa, Hello Nandan, Gharkool, and SEZ. Meanwhile, she has also worked with TVCs and music videos. In 2017, Sayli was associated with the Sachin Khedekar-starrer Marathi family drama Baapjanma.
