Filmmaker, screenwriter and producer Scott Beck is known for his association with writer-director Bryan Woods, with whom he has co-wrote, directed and produced a number of tv shows and movies. Beck`s showbiz journey began with Bluebox Films - a production company he co-founded with his longtime collaborator in 2001. Subsequently, he made his feature film directorial debut with the drama film Lost & Found in 2003.
University Heights (2004), the western drama The Bride Wore Blood (2006) and the supernatural thriller Nightlight (2015) are among Beck`s notable directorial credits. In 2018, Beck and Woods co-wrote and produced the horror thriller A Quiet Place, which starred John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in the lead roles, and opened to near-universal critical acclaim.
