An American comic book writer, Scott Lobdell is noted for his work in Hollywood cinema. Lobdell`s passion for writing begin from a very early age; he started to read books when he was 17-years-old while he was lying bed after his lung surgery. After recovering from his surgery, Lobdell, went to college to study psychology, however, two years into college the quit to pursue a career in writing. His association with Marvel Comics began in the 1990s, he became known for his work on the Marvel Comics X-Men-related titled, specifically Uncanny X-Men, and the spin-off series that he conceived with artist Generation X and Chris Bachalo. For his outstanding writing works, he won many recognitions in the comic book industry and also won a nomination for Comics Buyer`s Guide Award for Favorite Writer in 1997. Apart from writing for comics book, he has also written for many films including Happy Death Day (2017), an American slasher film directed by Christopher B. Landon.
