Born in Constanta, Romania, Sebastian Stan is a Romanian-American actor popularly known for essaying the character of Winter Soldier in Captain America: Civil War (2016). A graduate of the Mason Gross School of Arts, USA, Stan, after becoming an American citizen in 2002, appeared in movies such as Tony n` Tina`s Wedding (2004), The Covenant (2006), and Rachel Getting Married (2008). However, it was the 2009 TV series Kings that earned him recognition in the industry.

Following which, in 2012, he was nominated for the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries for his role as T.J Hammond in Political Animals. Some of his other movie credits include Ricki and the Flash (2015), The Martian (2015) and The Bronze (2015). His 2017 releases include the movies Logan Lucky, I, Tonya, I`m Not Here, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle. He other project include Avengers: Infinity War. His 2019 release includes Destroyer, directed by Karyn Kusama and Avengers: Endgame.
