Seema Azmi is an actor and theater director trained from the National School of Drama (NSD). She has been actively involved in the performing arts for the last 20 years. She had acted in almost 150 plays and directed many plays like Gadhe Ki Barat, The Silent Front, Aisey Kabhi Socha Nahi, Dear Diary, Parsaina etc. She founded her own theatre group `Shila Shringar`. Seema Azmi has also been a part of various Feature films such as Chak De India, Mohalla Assi, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Om Prakash Zindabaad, P Se Pyar F Farar, The Rapist etc. She has also performed in Tv shows like Yeh Jadu hai Jinn Ka, Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3, Rishra.Com, Piya Rangrez, Upanishad Ganga, Crime Petrol, Savdhan India to name a few. As a writer her first play was `Aisey Kabhi Socha Nahi`.
