Seema Biswas is an Indian film and threatre actress. She made her debut with the film Amshini (1988). She won a National Film Award for Best Actress for the film Bandit Queen (1994). Seema starred in Khamoshi: The Musical (1998), Company (2002), Ek Hasina Thi (2004) and Water (2005). She has also worked in Vivah (2006), Lalbaug - Parel (2010) and Balyakalasakhi (2014). Seema was later seen in Jai Ho Democracy (2015), Freaky Ali (2016) and Half Girlfriend (2017), Sameer (2017), Bhoga Khirikee (2018) and The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir (2019).
