Born in Meridian, Mississippi, Sela has worked in American television and movies. She was a part of several commercials before acting in television. Her popular television series` include Sisters (1991), House (2005), Once and Again (1999) and CSI: NY (2010). Sela has been awarded with the prestigious Golden Globe as well as Primetime Emmy. Her prominent movies are The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and Gone Girl (2014). Her next big movie is Independence Day: Resurgence which will release in June, 2016.
