Sergio Amidei was an Italianscreenwriter and producer. He wrote for more than 85 films. He is known for his work with famous Italian directors likeRoberto RosselliniandVittorio De Sica. Some of his notable films as writer include Don Bosco, Paisan and Pact with the Devil. Amidei was nominated for fourAcademy Awards. In 1982 and 1983, he won David award for Best Screenplay at David di Donatello Awards.
