An Indian lyricist, singer, and actor, Shabareesh Varma is noted for his works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Having made his debut on the silver screen with the critically acclaimed film Neram in 2013, Shabareesh rose to fame with his lyrics for 2015 blockbuster Premam. His other notable film credits include Thobama, Double Barrel, and Naam, a Malayalam comedy musical directed by Joshy Thomas Pallickal. In 2018, he penned the lyrics of Vijesh Vijay's Malayalam romantic drama Mandharam, starring Asif Ali and Varsha Bollamma in lead roles and Ladoo.
