Shailendra Babu is a veteran Kannada film producer and the father of actor Sumanth Shailendra. Some of his notable projects are Hosa Jeevana (1990), Shwethaagni (1991), Swathi (1994), Rangoli (1996), Kutumba (2003), Gowramma (2005). His 2018 projects include Telugu film Brand Babu.
