Actor Shaju Sreedhar started out in showbiz as a mimicry artist, and eventually rose to prominence as an anchor and actor on television. Since his feature film debut in the comedy Mimics Action 500 (1995), Shaju has appeared in supporting roles in several Malayalam movies. Among these are the comedy-drama Swa Le (2009), the crime thriller City of God (2011), the comedy-drama Paavada (2016) and the political thriller Ramaleela (2017).

Other significant film credits in recent times include the biographical drama Padmini (2018) and the Pranav Mohanlal starrer Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu (2019).
