Shakun Batra is an Indian filmmaker. He made his Bollywood directorial debut with the movie, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012), which was appreciated for its music and excellent direction. He worked as an assistant director on Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na (2008), Rock On!! (2008) and Don 2 (2011). He played Pappu in Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na (2008). He also directed the viral video, Alia Bhatt - Genius of the Year (2014), for AIB. His upcoming project, Kapoor and Sons, is slated to release in March, 2016.
