Shalini Chandran is an Indian film and television actress. Shalini played the role of Maithili in the television show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii which was her shot to fame. She was then seen in television shows like Hamari Betiyoon ka Vivaah and Riston Se Badi Pratha. Shalini made her film debut with the commercially successful film Badmaash Company (2010). She was also seen in the short films Vulture (2010) and Desire of a Housewife (2012). Shalini now has the film Doctor I Love You lined up.
