Shamdat Sainudeen, known mononymously as Shamdat, is an Indian cinematographer and filmmaker who is primarily known for his work in South Indian cinema. Since his debut in the Telugu movie Premayanamaha (2003), he has helmed the camera department in around 30 feature films. Among these are the Malayalam anthology film Kerala Cafe (2009), the Telugu political thriller Prasthanam (2010) and the Tamil action film Vishwaroopam 2 (2018).

Shamdat also made his directorial debut in 2018, with the bilingual thriller Street Lights starring Mammootty. Other significant movie credits include The Tiger (2005), Ritu (2009), Uttama Villain (2015) and the action comedy Deva Daasu (2018).
