A versatile artist, Shaneil Deo is an Indian cinematographer, editor, actor, and director. Shaneil who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries, started his career in the film industry as a crew member before eventually moving up the ranks and he has worked as an editor, and camera and lighting technician. He has also written, directed, and acted in a few short films, but is mostly known for his works behind the camera.

He made his debut as a cinematographer with Newhighers in 2013 and over the years he has worked in more than 10 films across different languages. Few of his notable ventures include KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid (2013), Kshanam (2016), Naruda Donaruda (2016), and Goodachari (2018), a Telugu action drama directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. His 2020 release includes Nishabdham.
