An FTII graduate, Shanti Bhushan Roy is a noted cinematographer, who has worked alongside some of the renowned directors, producers in the Hindi film industry. Before venturing into the film industry, Roy has done advertisements for popular brands, including Tata Steel, Pepsodent, Surf Excel, Dove Soap, Domex, and Bournvita to name few.

He is a cinematographer for Hindi TV series such as Satyamev Jayate and 24 and films like Wedding Anniversary, Ballad of Rustom, Eye for an Eye, Cross, Frida and Hey Ram Hamne Gandhi Ko Maar Diya among others.
