Shashi Kiran is a veteran Indian actor, who has worked mainly in the Hindi film industry. He started his acting career in 1971 with Mere Apne. Over a career spanning more than four decades, Shashi Kiran has been a part of movies like Anhonee (1973), Bobby (1973), Ghar (1978), Red Rose (1980), Phir Wohi Raat (1980), Maalamaal (1988), Love Love Love (1989), Awwal Number (1990), 100 Days (1991), Bol Radha Bol (1992), Taqdeerwala (1995), Coolie No. 1 (1995), Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995), Judwaa (1997), Hero No. 1 (1997), Yes Boss (1997), Deewana Mastana (1997), Jodi No.1 (2001), Baghban (2003), Partner (2007), Bhoothnath (2008), Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke (2010), Murder 2 (2011) and Punjabian Da King (2015). In 2017 Shashi Kiran acted alongside Ravi Kishan, Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Tripathi and Rati Agnihotri in director Deepak S. Shivdasani`s Julie 2. The movie has Raai Laxmi in the title role. He is associated with the 2017 Punjabi movie Hard Kaur directed by Ajit Raijpal.
