Shashikanath Anekal is an Indian film director. He made his directorial debut with the 2018 release Jana Gana Mana.

Anekal never planned on becoming a director until Umesh Bankar identified his talent and suggested him to direct his debut film while they were in the screenplay discussion of the film.
