Known for his work in the Bengali film industry, Shataf Figar is an Indian film and theatre actor, who made his feature film debut in 2014 with the Koushik Sen, Ritwick Chakraborty, and Raima Sen-starrer drama Kolkata Calling. Before making his movie debut, he was associated with theatre for over five years, working with the likes of Alyque Padamsee, Neeraj Kabi, Ranan, LOK, and Red Curtain in Mumbai and Kolkata.

After his debut, he went on to work in a string of Bengali movies such as 89, Sesh Anka, Rajkahini, Chorabali, Devi, Aami Joy Chatterjee, and Kabir. His 2018 release includes Kuasha Jakhon and Helicopter Eela. His other releases includes Barof (2019), Mon Jaane Na (2019) and Extraction (2020).
