Shauna Macdonald is a Malaysian born Scottish TV and film actress is best known for her role as Sarah in the horror film The Descent and its sequel. Having started his acting career on the silver screen with The Debt Collector in 1999, over the years, she has starred in more than 10 feature films. Some of her notable film credits include The Rocket Post (2004), Jetsam (2007), Silent Night, Deadly Night (2008), Filth (2013), and Howl (2016).

Apart from films, Macdonald also has an elaborate career in the TV industry. After her maiden appearance on the small screen in Murder Rooms (2000) where she played the role of Heather, she starred in series` like Wedding Belles (2007), Ripper Street (2013) and Katie Morag (2015). Her other significant acting credits include The Descent: Part 2 (2010), Howl (2016) Polaroid (2020) and The King`s Man (2021).
