Shazad Latif is a British Actor of English, Scottish, and Pakistani descent, best known for his roles as Ash Tyler in Star Trek: Discovery (2017-2019) and Dr Jekyll in Penny Dreadful (2016). Raised in North London and trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, he gained further prominence as an Actor in the romantic comedy What's Love Got to Do with It? (2022) and the thriller Magpie (2024). In 2024, he starred as Captain Nemo in the adventure series Nautilus (2024), and in 2025, he appeared as an Actor in the series Atomic (2025). His recent work includes portraying Edgar Linton as an Actor in the romantic drama Wuthering Heights (2026).
