The son of veteran Tollywood cinematographer Hari Anumolu, musician Shekar Chandra made his debut as a film score composer with the 2007 Telugu movie Anasuya. Since then, he has scored the music for over 25 films, notable among which are the crime-thriller Amaravati (2009), Avunu (2012) and the comedy Brother of Bommali (2014). Significant among Shekar`s most recent works are the comedy thriller Andhhagadu (2017), the 2018 romantic drama Howrah Bridge and Subrahmanyapuram. His 2019 release includes Sivaranjani, directed by Naaga Prabhakkar.
