Shekhar Sen is one of the foremost exponents of the Monoact. A melodious singer, artist and playwright, Shekhar has left countless people spellbound with his performances. Each of his plays - Vivekananda, Tulsidas, Kabir, Soordas among others - is a masterpiece, an experience by itself that moves the audience deeply, bringing them back again and again for more. Shekhar is currently the Chairman, Sangeet Natak Akademi (formerly Sahitya Kala Akademi).
