A popular actor in the Malayalam film industry, Shine Tom Chacko started his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Kamal for about nine years. He made his debut on the silver screen as an actor with Gaddama (2011) where he played a supporting role. He subsequently played smaller roles in Salt N` Pepper (2011), Chapters (2012), and Ee Adutha Kaalathu (2012), before eventually making his debut in a lead role with Ithihasa (2014). His other notable film credits include Dum (2016), and Mannamkattayum Kariyilayum (2017), a Malayalam language family drama-thriller directed by Arun Sagara, Kayamkulam Kochunni (2018), Ishq (2019), Unda (2019), Mask (2019), My Santa (2019) and Bhoomiyile Manohara Swakaryam (2020).
