Well-known for his work in Kannada theatre and cinema, actor Shiva made his Sandalwood debut with the acclaimed crime-drama Shuddhi (2017), directed by Adarsh Eshwarappa. This was followed by a supporting role in the action thriller Kariya 2 (2017).

In 2019, Shiva essayed a pivotal role in the psychological thriller Manaroopa, which was directed by Kiran Hegde.
