Shivani Ghai is an English actress of an Indian origin. She has a BA in film and television studies from Derby University. Shivani started off as a theatre artist working for companies such as Man Mela, Rifco and Kali. She then ventured into television with shows such as Doctors, Spooks and The Bill. Ghai got a major break for playing the role of Aishwarya Rai`s best friend in Bride and Prejudice (2004). She was cast in an Italian television show, Medico In Famiglia (2006), for which she had to learn Italian. Ghai was later cast in the miniseries House of Saddam (2008), where she essayed the role of Saddam`s second daughter, Rana. Her latest appearances were in the series EastEnders and Ambassadors. Her upcoming film, Fireflies is set to hit the theatres in October 2014.
