Shoba was an Indian film actress. Her famous films are Ulkadal, Shalini Ente Koottukari, Neelakasham, etc in Malayalam and Veli Thandiya Velladu, Anbulla Athan, Pasi, etc in Tamil. she was married to Director Balu Mahendra at her younger age and committed suicide at the age of 17. she was declared as National award winner for the movie Pasi after her death.
