Shri Debasish Pattnaik has successfully established himself as an accomplished Odissi dancer internationally and has won accolades from audience and the critics. He started his training under Late Guru Sri Kasinath Roul of Rourkela and continued under Guru Durga Charan Ranbir. He has established ''Debnrutyam Dance Studio'' which organizes three Dance Festivals annually; Rudradhara, Kala Sangam and Smruti Shradhanjali. He successfully runs branches of his institute in Rourkela and Bangalore and holds regular workshops in Russia and Japan. He is a recipient of the Singarmani, Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and is an A-Grade artist of Doordarshan.
