Best known for her role in the Tamil TV series, Thendral and the Tamil feature film Kadhal Dot Com, Shruthi Raj is an Indian TV and film actress who works in south Indian industry, especially Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. The winner of several awards including four Sun Kudumbam Awards and two Vijay Telly Awards started her acting career with the Malayalam feature film Agrajan (1995).

Following silver screen debut, the actress moved to work in the Tamil industry and made her debut in Kollywood with Maanbumigu Maanavan (1996) before eventually going back to Malayalam industry in 1998. Her other notable film includes Priyam (2000), War and Love (2003), Jerry (2006), and Athruptha (2018), a Kannada horror thriller directed by Nagesh Kylanur.

Apart from films, the actress also has an elaborate TV career; she has worked mainly in Tamil series`. Her notable TV appearances include Kolangal (2003-09), Sravani Subramanyam (2011-12), Apoorva Raagangal (2015) and Azhagu (2017).
