Born and raised in Mumbai, Shveta Salve is most popular for her stint on the television dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She rose to prominence as one of the leads in the teenage drama series Hip Hip Hurray, which aired on Zee TV in 1998. Shveta Salve has also appeared in films such as Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999) and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji (2011).
