Shyamal Bose is an Indian director, writer and actor who primarily works in the Bengali film industry. Having made his directorial debut with Dabidar (1997), he subsequently directed films like Nayan Tara (2014), Alor Khonje (2015) and Asamay (2017), a Bengali drama starring Soumitra Chatterjee, and Kharaj Mukherjee. His 2018 release includes Astitwa.
