Siddharth Ray was a film actor who had a very successful career in both Bollywood and Marathi industry. His talent was not just limited to Bollywood and Marathi, but he also made an appearance in a few South Indian films. Ray started his career as a child artist in the film Chaani which was directed by his grandfather. As an adult, he made his debut in the film Thodisi Bewafaii 1980.

Siddharth Ray was loved and appreciated by many for his performances in the film Vansh (1992). e appeared in several Hindi films in the 1990s such as Vansh (1992), Parwane (1993), Baazigar (1993), Pehchaan (1993). Other films starring him are Ganga Ka Vachan, Tilak and Military Raaj. He also starred in Baazigar along with Shahrukh Khan.
