Primarily seen in Tamil and Malayalam movies, Sija Rose is an Indian film actress who, in fact, made her debut with the 2012 Kannada movie Magadi. Having completed her studies at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Muscat, Sija aspired to become a journalist, like her father. However, during a vacation in Kerala, she was offered a modelling assignment, following which her life changed. One ad led to another and she was flooded with movie offers. After her debut in 2012, she was seen in the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Ustad Hotel in 2012, where she played Dulquer`s sister Fazeeha`s role, marking her Malayalam debut. The same year, in 2012, she made her Tamil film debut, playing the role of a village belle called Thulasi in Kozhi Koovuthu opposite Ashok.
In 2013, the young actress had five releases, three of which - Nee Ko Njaa Cha, Annayum Rasoolum, and Entry - released on the same day. While most of her releases of 2013 were Malayalam movies, she was also a part of the Tamil movie Masani. Making her Bollywood debut, Sija was a part of the 2016 road thriller movie Traffic, which featured her alongside an ensemble cast comprising Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Divya Dutta, Amol Parashar, and Richa Panai. Not only did she play a supporting role in the movie, she also assisted director Rajesh Pillai.
