Simon Duggan is an Australian cinematographer who primarily works in Hollywood. He was born and brought up in Wellington, New Zealand. Simon started his career with the feature film The Interview (1998), directed by Craig Monahan. He later worked on popular films like I, Robot (2004), Underworld: Evolution (2006), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), and Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). In 2013, Simon was the director of photography of Baz Luhrmann`s The Great Gatsby, which was shot in 3D. His other projects include 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Warcraft (2016), and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Simon`s 2019 project includes Isn`t It Romantic, a comedy-drama film. His other notable works include Disenchanted (2022), Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024), and The Exorcism (2024).
