An English actor, comedian, screenwriter and producer, Simon Pegg is best known for co-writing and starring in the Three Flavours Cornetto film trilogy - Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and
The World`s End(2013), for which he won several awards, including Bram Stoker Award for Best Screenplay, British Independent Film Award for Best Screenplay, and Peter Sellers Award for Comedy.
In 1990, Pegg started his career as a successful stand-up comedian, which he helped him bagged roles in several TV series like Six Pairs of Pants (1995), Asylum (1996) and We Know Where You Live(1997), Is It Bill Bailey? (1998), Hippies (1999).
